do not have the manual for this machine and am having a hard time trying to figure out how to thread both the machine and the bobbin.. please help me out

4 The manufacturer has manuals available free online. You can follow the link, or just go to singerco.com and choose "Instruction Manuals" from the drop-down list labeled "I Am Looking For..." If you search for "Athena" or "Athena 2000", the results come up empty. But if you search for "2000", it comes up right away. You can have them mail you a copy for $15 (if you're in the US or Canada), but there's a downloadable version available for free. If you still want a paper copy, it's easy enough to print that out.

1 My aunt gave this nice machine to me when she passed away. It has no books at all. I din't even know how to thread it. I would love to make my grandgirls a few items for Christmas.

0 i had this machine for 30 yrs, barely used, i had it repaired, a small part under bubin, after that it does not do decorative stitches. the needle moves freely to right or left by hand. any ideas about the nature of the problem.....thanks in advance. mohy
