5 Just below the needle if you have a flat bed machine, there is a small sliding door. Slide it open and you should see a cylindrical thing with a little arm across the centre. With your needle raised to the highest point, pull on that little arm and out should come this little cylinder. This is your bobbin case. Inside that case is your bobbin. If you have an open arm machine, there will be a swinging door right in the end under your needle bed. You might have to look closely to find it but inside there will be your bobbin case. Follow the same procedure to remove it. Hope this helps.
