The slide plate opened while I was sewing and the ...

The slide plate opened while I was sewing and the bobbin became entangled in thread. I had to force open the slide plate and a tiny, tiny spring and small metal tip popped out. I cannot figure out where they came from and the bobbin will no long thread. Help
