Question About Singer Sewing Machine 5830
stitch length...

Hi please can someone help, I can't work out how to adjust the stitch length for flexi stitches like the straight multi-stitch. How can I do this?? when I change the length using the normal way it switches off the multi-stitch onto the basic straight stitch....
