singer stylist 478. The machine is not catching the thread thru the bobbin case. I've checked the needle and the machine is threaded properly but the machine doesn't seem to stitch the fabric. This machine was given to me and it is in mint condition. I like it because it seems solid and has no plastic parts. do you know anything about this machine and faults does it have?

0 I have the same problem looks like the belt at the bottom is not rotating in my case. Is it the same in your case
