0 You will probably find that the top tension discs have either lint accumulated, or mild corrosion......these are the usual causes......try cleaning with a length of cloth like "flossing" teeth. If problem persists, using very fine cutting compound (like car paint restorer paste) may help to smooth irregular surfaces of the tension unit.
