Question About Singer Sewing Machine 237 fashion mate
Problem using the sewing machine...

My girlfriend gave me this machine and the needles keep breaking. It is hitting something inside the machine. How can I fix this? Lk91408@yahoo.com Thank you, Lynne

0 Use a NEW sewing machine FLAT needle for what you are sewing. Make sure you are using the right Sewing Machine Needle for the matching Fabric. Oil & Clean you machine. A bent needle can cause it to sound like it is hitting the needle. Use Good Thread preferably All-Purpose Thread for sewing. Don't sew Stretch Fabric to test the machine.
