Question About Singer Sewing Machine singer 9420T
presser foot lifter...

The presser foot lifter has become disengaged with the spring that holds pressure on it as it is lifted. I have reset the foot but if it is turned even slightly it will disengage again and the foot will drop down leaving the pressrer foot lifter with no spring pressure. The question, Is how do I reset the arm spring pressure and have it stay.
