my needle thread keeps breaking even when my threading and tension settings seem correct. any suggestions? thank you

0 Just a suggestion. On my Singer I have to use Cloaks and Clark Thread as the Maderia, Sulky and others are wound the opposite of C & C. When I did this, my threads stopped breaking.
