My modle #1411, will not zig-zag or do any of the in-build designs. Hoever, it does straight stitch just fine. I had a repair person look at it and said it would be to costly to fix. Today, I purchased another Singer, but can't part with the old one. I'm willing to attempt a DIY if I could find a repair manuel.
