My fabric will not feed. I have cleaned the bobbin...

My fabric will not feed. I have cleaned the bobbin and feed dog areas. What else can I do to determine the problem?

0 there is a stitch length regulator on the machine. If it is set at zero, it will make the feed dog not feed. This is the area where you hit the reverse to backstitch on your machine. Put the stitchlength on 10 to get it going. this dial is in different places on various makes of the machine, It can be a dial or a lever....Also make sure the presser foot is in the down position once your fabric is in position.
