4 needle down feature is when u stop sewing your needle stays inthe fabric rather than lifts out of it. It a feature that is handy when u quilt/ at least i think that is what it is. lol I have a manual that came with the machine but i am still not familar with how it works . the dog feeds are smooth shouldn't they be toothed. marney shutler lilone2ca

1 I would love to get a copy of your manual. I paid ninety dollars to have my motor replaced and discovered i had not used the machine in such a long time i forgot how. Please send copy i would appreciate it.

0 I'm certainly not an expert on the Athena 2000. The best place for lots of good information, and most of what is in the owner's manual, can be found at www.tandtrepair.com/Athena2000.html This guy has done an excellent job of providing more repair info. than most of us want to know. Check it out first. There's more in the website than there is in the manual. However, if you still want the manual after checking out the website, send me an e-mail at tighoff@cox.net with a mailing address and I will send you a copy. I will be transitioning between states next week, so if you don't hear from me right away you know the reason why. Best wishes, Nancy
