Question About Singer Sewing Machine 111W103
changing belt...

we don't know how to change the belt that goes in the interior of the machine. How do we pull it apart and put the belt on? The model is 111w103

3 Take out all the set screws on the flywheel. the one on the end also.Slide open the top cover inside between the sprocket and the flywheel is a brass coller remove the screws on it. It's on the same shaft as the flywheel, sprocket and bearing. Take a gear puller two or three leg type and remove the flywheel. Don't attempt to knock it off with a hammer or a wedge. Once the wheel is off go to the inside with a solid 1/4" rod or a flat head punch and a hammer tap the coller and bearrind out. It will only come out about 1/2 way. Take the same gear puller and pull it out the rest of the way. Your new belt will fish in easy. Reverve to compleate the job Good luck Need help E mail me at NCrossroad@aol.com
