I bought a singer model 9143 electronic with tension issues and want to know about bobbin tesion or how it is supposed to be set up

0 This is out of a repair book I got off of eBay. It covers the basics. Remove the bobbin case from the shuttle, then remove the shuttle from the carrier. Put the two together. Thread the thread thru like on the machine. Hold the thread and shake gently. If the bobbin case and shuttle slide down the thread fast, then turn the adjusting screw clockwise to tighten. If they will not slide down you will need to loosen the screw counter clockwise until they slide a little, but stop when you stop gently shaking the thread. This procedure works on nearly every sewing machine. I hope this helps. Do you have the manual to this machine? I just had one given to me without the manual. If you do could you post it please.
