The squirrel cage bearings are noisey, and furnace...

The squirrel cage bearings are noisey, and furnace is 33 years old. Very good condition and only used as a back up unit. Do I need a new cage assy. or just bearings---are they pressed in??

0 The presses on bearing on the rod might be going out, that happened to me last year had to flip the rod aroud because there was no wear on the opposite side of the rod. We pressed a new seal on and no problems yet.
