ON MY IONIZER, I HAVE A DIAL THAT HAS ON, OFF AND ON/G.P. AND ALSO HAS A BOOST BUTTON. WHAT IS THE BOOST BUTTON AND WHAT IS G.P. FOR?

3 GP stands for "germicidal protection". Boost puts the unit on its maximum settings for quick cleaning of the air.
