Question About Sharp Air Conditioner CV10NH
Will not turn on...

I have the CV10NH ive had it for a year and it will not turn on even when i press the power button on the air conditioner. When I press the button it makes a little beeping noise but no lights appear on it?? Ive been through the manual and triple checked the problem shooter at the end? Help please?

5 I have the same unit..Be sure that the screens are clean and most important, drain out all of the water by the very bottom drain plug..You can remove the drain plug, then press AUX button and let it power drain..

5 Also, if there is no water in the system and it will not turn on, maybe its a bad sensor...I would try to lay the unit down flat on its back, then as your coming up slow, try to power it on a few times until its upright again just to see if the float is stuck as well..hope this helps, post us back

5 We laid the AC unit down on it's side and then turned on the power while raising it back up. The AC quit shutting off after two minutes and is now running fine. Thanks a bunch.

0 Runs a very low speed, does not blow out much air and shuts down periodically

0 Sounds like its filled with water or your setting is not on AC...Take out the main plug on the bottom of the back of the unit, be sure to set the setting to AUX and see if the unit drains off. Also, check your screens, be sure they are clean., and also be sure you run it on MAX for a while since the compressor can freeze being run on low for long periods. Give the above a try and post us back if it helped or not. If not, I can post a few more things to try since the space here is limited. Anthony
