Question About Sears Vacuum Cleaner 116.35923500
Beater bar does not turn on...

The beater bar is supposed to engage when the handle is lowered for operation. Mine is progressively working less and less, and need to lower the handle nearly to the floor to get the beater to turn on. It must be a problem with a sensor or something similar. Any advice as to the part to replace?
