Just moved in and can't find anything labeled "learn" on this old opener. (model 139.664983) Any advice? Thank you

0 Is there a dip switch (plastic module with 8 tiny switches)? If so your unit predates the "learn" technology and randomly generated passwords. You will need an opener that has a similar 8-position dipswitch and set the switches to the same pattern as the opener. The pattern of the switches is the code sent to the opener, since it is the same every time, criminals can capture the code with a radio scanner.

0 On mine, it is just to the left of the "up force" adjustment knob, on the back side (opposite side from the door), and just below where the wiring from the wall switch attaches. Looks like the diagram of the "digital" option at the url below
