Question About Sears Garage Door Opener 139.53975SRT1
Garage door open does not function...

My sears garage door opener does not operate. The light stays on and I get a minor humming noise but ir does not open the door. The motor does not turn the chain. I unplug the motor, the light goes out, I plug it in again and the light comes on. I cannot even shut the light off with the light button. What is wrong? 7/5/08 Lou
