0 Same intermittent problem of fan staying on after heat cycle turns off with same model number except the last digit is different -model EF08B1500A4. International Comfort Products, head office in Lewisburg, TN manufactured for Sears, Made in Mexico in 2003. Fan is loud and to leave it on is quite bothersome. Manually cycling thru the wall thermostat settings (heat,cool,off) and (fan on, off, auto) a few times usually will shut the fan off but not always. One HVAC tech's suggestion was to replace the original circuit board. Circuit board made by Texas Instruments with two numbers - 26FC-2 and HQ10859141X. The 26FC-2 can be easily found online but the HQ number is tough to match for a price under $Cdn 325. $100 less expensive HQ numbers that are close but not exact include HQ1085914TX. Would the TX at the end of the part number work as a replacement for the original 1X considering all other digits are identical?
