Question About Sanitaire Vacuum Cleaner S663
Hood Springs...

I volunteered to repair this vacuum for a friend, when I received it the hood was already removed along with the "hood springs". I am trying to figure out where and how these are installed...I imagine that their purpose is to help secure the hood in place. Thank you for your help,
