This model number has a latent defect. This is the combination of the electronics section that keeps beeping in sucessive sequence and the compressor produce ice that went outside the casing. My e-mail is blucas2@hotmail.com and blucas1941@comcast.net It is very difficult and close to impossible to find customer service to take action and not have me pay for a service call. The Internet shows that the model DED50LL has latent defects. Would Samsung not have good customer service on product lines such as their HDTV LCD flat screens. So far I am not impressed the way Samsung is handling their customer service. I am very, very exceedingly unhappy with their Customer Service
