Question About Ruud Water Heater pe2-40-2
I have a Ruud PE2-40-2 water heater. It is leaking...

I have a Ruud PE2-40-2 water heater. It is leaking on top from under a recessed plastic cap. Is the Anode Rod under this cap? Can I pry the cap off to replace the rod? It appeaers that the cap is glued down , but watwer is coming up around the edges. Water Heater was new in 2005. Please help!
