12/09/12 Just purchased a Rudd 80% RGPS Furnace, the unit is shipped with a red rubber band around the draft inducer flue connection. Is this a protector for shipping? I am assuming that this will be removed before connector the vent flue and starting up the unit? Will my flue pipe be connected around the outside or inserted inside the draft inducer motor flue pipe
