I have a programmable thermostat, model number unknown. It does have a code to utilize to prevent the settings from being changed. It is about ten years old. The filter indicator is lit on the display, despite the fact I just cleaned and reinstalled the filters (they are the reusable, allergy type). Can you advise me as to why that might be, as well as what the code to prevent tampering might be (I cannot remember it)
