I had static electricity built up from the shoes I was wearing and went to adjust the thermostat. When I touched the thermostat, it reset the reading on the room temperature to 28 degrees. Therefore, we cannot get the furnace to turn off because it is trying to bring the inside temp from 28 degrees to our setting of 68 degrees. How do I fix the room temperature reading to the right room temperature?
