Question About ritetemp Thermostat 6010
i bought a rite temp model 6010 from home depot. i...

i bought a rite temp model 6010 from home depot. it is to replace an old 25 year honeywell thermostat for just heat. on old thermostat there was no identifying the wires, only 2 wires a white and red. i connected the red to RH and white to W. does not seen to work. should i reverse them or connect differently?
