I have a Rinnai direct vent gas heater in the hous...

I have a Rinnai direct vent gas heater in the house I'm renting and it has no manual. I can't seem to set it for lower than 60 degrees--the only other lower setting is "L." Can someone tell me what the "L" means? Can I go away in the winter with it set on "L" ?
