We have a Granite Tile Floor cemented onto a cement slab in our Sun Room. The Granite is very cold in the winter. The Thermistor is very short & only goes 8" above the unit. I would like to raise it 5' so the ambeient temperture equals the volumn of the room. The room is 24' x 14' x 8'. I feel the thermistor could regulate this temperture condition. Question can I cut the thermistor wire and add addition length?
