I LOVE MY VACUUM MODEL WD 12460, IT HAS BEEN VERY DEPENDABLE. I HAVE HAD IT FOR ABOUT 6 OR 7 YRS. I WAS USING IT WHEN IT QUIT WORKING. I KEEP IT CLEAN ALWAYS, I CHECKED IT OUT WHITH A MULTIMETER THE CORD, SWITCH CHECKS OUT OK BUT IT STILL WON'T WORK.
