Question About Rheem Water Heater HE Series
Smoke coming from the upper heating element...

I live in a condo and our Water Heater is located under the A/C. Smoke smell caught my attention and it was coming from the water heater, I think that water from the A/C got into the upper heating element and that's the reason the wires were burning. Please advised.
