blower motor...

getting a very loud humming noise from the motor it also is refusing to spin and the motor is getting hot tothe touch

0 We have the same situation. The furnace plate shows it to be a 1985 model. No oil cups on bearings. Strongly suspect windings problem. Where can an exact single speed motor be procured? Current on is a Westinghouse.
