Question About Raypak Heat Pump RHP 104jxz
Service light comes on...

I have RHP104JXZ heat pump. The unit comes on and heats to tempature then shuts down and reports that it needs service. If you pust the re-set switch it will come back on until temp is reached and then shut down again and service light comes back on. I have cleaned the coils so I can't see anything external any suggestions.

0 Make sure that you have adequate outlet flow, if not pressure will build up in the heat exchanger and shut the system down. By the way , where can I find a manuel for this model of heat pump? Thank you, Robert.
