We have a Ruud heatpump and the protech 620 thermostat - when our heatpump is running and the inside temp drops below the set temp on the thermostat when should some of the heat- strips start kicking on to help heat? Ours had to drop or raise three degrees before it will kick in. I would think we could program it to kick in when it drops by one degree.
