WHY WON'T MACHINE SEW?...

I HAVE NOT USED THIS SEWING MACHINE IN A WHILE. I HAVE IT THREADED, BUT THE MACHINE SEEMS TO BE LOCKED. CANNOT GET IT TO SEW. WHAT DO I NEED TO DO TO GET IT GOING?
