Foot control....

Foot control now won't work, Light flickered before but now nothing.

0 it may be that the capacitor in the foot pedal has burned out or the fuse in the plug has blown as the result of a power surge or there is a fault (short-circuit?) in the motor. Those are the ones that come to mind. Have you a sewing machine servicing shop near? It need not be specifically Pfaff as the 1027 is not computerised - though they are very good and I have had mine since I made my wedding dress on it 27 years ago.

0 This happened to my Pfaff and I ended up getting a new foot pedal. My problem now is I have lost my manuals for this machine. Pfaff Tipmatic 1027, can anyone help.
