Question About Pfaff Sewing Machine 33138131 ?

I inherited the machine from a girlfriends mother that knew I wanted to take up sewing. I'm sure the machine is an older model and I'm scared to damage it by trying to learn it on my own. All I have is the machine and the numbers above are from the metal tag on the back. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
