How can you tell if the condenser fan outside is i...

How can you tell if the condenser fan outside is installed back to front? Unit seems noisier than some i've heard. Also I can see the inside of the main body of the fan rather than looking at a smooth cover. It sometimes sounds like a model aircraft.
