The water softener is always quite full with water regardless of how much salt is in it. Is this right!! I am selling my house and the surveyor has picked up on the fact my outside wall is damp (the internal plaster is dry). He seems to think this is coming from the water softener? Is there any way to check this? Can it be switched off for a few days or would this need to be disconnected? I would also be grateful if anyone has a copy or the manual for this water softener?
