Question About Whirlpool Water Heater EE2H40RD045V
apparently some time in the last few days our T&P ...

apparently some time in the last few days our T&P valve released. So pressure must have built up in the unit. What would cause that to happen and what do we need to do about it now? Does the valve need to be replaced but more importantly what do we need to check on the unit to see what might need repair? Still have hot water.
