Question About Tappan Stove 316000189
Clean was pressed by misake and now overn will not close...

clean button was pressed by mistake as over door was opened. Lock LED is flashing and oven door will not close

0 Good Afternoon cgiannino, thanks for your post! From my understanding the oven door on your Tappan range will not close. If you accidentally pressed the clean button it could be the door lock mechanism is now engaged. Attempt to hold down the clear or cancel button for ten seconds and it should release the door lock. If that does not work I would recommend performing a reset on your range and you can do that by disconnecting power from it for ten minutes.
