1 Replaced battery and unit still beeps and the green light is half red. Do I need to replace the alarm?

0 I have 9 such dectors and 2 have begun to beep and from the info on the back of the unit it says to replace the battery. I tested the battery and found it VG and a new battery isn't any better. Unfortunately I do not have a manuel to pursue other instruction and would like same. At the moment do you have anythought to keep my sanity from the beeps. I have unplugged the 2 units now
