Question About BRK electronic Smoke Alarm SA67B
BRK 83R smoke alarm...

I am inserting a new battery --- the alarm sounds continuously as soon as I connect the new battery --- even after I properly close it. With no battery at all in it, it is silent. It had beeped a few times throughout the day, so that is why we started trying to install a new battery.
