Question About Furnace SP80
Owner/Service Manual...

Can anyone help me locate an owner/service manual for m furnace? the squirrel cage spins freely when the motor is not energized but will not spin, simply hums lodly when energized.

0 The blower motor has seized up and is most like drawing locked rotor amps. If you a meter set it to amps setting and amp clamp the motor speed connected to heating. Should read higher than fla ratings for motor. If so it is time to replace that motor. The bearings could be shot too.
