5 Go with the most green lights and it will fill up that tank. I know it all depends on the moisture or humidity level in the area you're attempting to dehumidify, but my tank fills up every 12 hours with all lights lit. Hope this helps... let me know if this helps, cause if not, I'll take a look when I get home. But you should hear the difference when you push that wrench button if the compressor turns on or not. Obviously, if just the fan is running, it will be a lot more quiet.

5 I have this same problem with same model. Worked yesterday but no water in tank today. You said above the "wrench" button is the "fan only" or dehumidifying" mode. Well, I want it to be dehumidifying, don't I? So this is not clear to me. Should the wrench button be on or not? I certainly don't need it as a fan. Would appreciate further clarification. Thanks.

5 It is worded very poorly, but i did some testing after I posted to you. The "humidify" button (don't quote me on the title as I don't have the manual with me) controls how much moisture the thing pulls of the air. If only the green light above the "a" is lit, then you're basically having it do nothing. The more green lights you have, which should change each time you push the button, the more moisture it will remove, and there is a huge notable difference.

2 I went with your suggestion..turned it on again, pushed the wrench and four green lights came on. I do not have any "abc's" on mine. Don't even know for sure which model it is....no numbers anywhere, just the word Lancaster. I also do not have a manual...not in box when purchased at Canadian Tire. There's another button for slow/fast fan so I put it on slow for now....too noisy otherwise. Will check it in a couple of hours and get back to you again. Thanks for your help.

0 You could have the dehumidifier in fan only mode. you have to make sure some of the green lights above the moisutre button are lit. I have one and it works fine. The button that looks like a wrench, the one closest to the power button, is the fan only or dehumidifying mode. don't know why that have that option as it wouldn't be too effective as a fan. good luck.

0 Our dehumidifier has died. We plug it in and there are no lights. When I push the on button some lights flicker on, but then die. It was hot the other day when working. It may have over heated. Any help would be appreciated.

0 It worked. You're a genius! Thanks so much for your help. I really wish companies would not use symbols on their buttons. I like to be able to read the words and know what I am doing. So, thanks again.

0 you should be able to find the model number somewhere on it when you take off the tank...but that's not too important for you now. :-) Glad I could help. For the power...all I can offer is if you know the outlet has power, unplug it for a few hours and then try again. If no luck, call the 800 #.

0 All I can tell you is to call the 800 number. I have not found a site with parts. I've got two service numbers... 888-876-5387 for tech support and warranty service or Transglobal Service that may be able to get you replacement parts 800360-2742. good luck

0 I have that model of Lancaster also. More green lights is good, and mine pulls about 4 litres out of the air in my RV every 48 hrs. I can't seem to get the humiditty reading below about 65% though. I'm looking for a freebie download of the owners manual.
