4 If you Garrison Carbon monoxide is not working anymore return it to Canadian Tire..they should return it. I called their customer service hot-line today and they said even if you do not have a receipt they should return it. It is a Canadian tire brand.

2 read the directions...if you don't BELIEVE there is no CO in your home, don't worry about, why did you buy an alarm? Can you sense CO, smell it, taste it? why would you ignore an alarm? moron

2 1. this unit goes off, by coincidence, in the night. 2. I don't believe there is a carbon monoxide issue activating the unit 3. the unit is about 10 years old 4.I don't know if the battery is the problem 5. does the battery have to be right up or the alarm will be triggered. 6. last evening the unit was plugged in without a backup battery- in the night it went off. 7.do these units have a lifespan to them
