6 remove batteries for 1 min to reset control, then put batteries back in and wait 20 sec. Finally hit mode button and select heat settings. good luck and stay warm.....by the way this works for mine so i hope it works for you all. cheers

4 Yep mines the same. It worked the other day when i turned it on for the first time, now it wont select the heat mode. Is it the controller or the system????

4 Hi, i have a TLC Model Number: TAC-12CS/G aircon and there's E2 flashing on it... does anyone know what fault this relates to because it won't switch on at all.

4 I bought a TCL Split Unit,it was installed by an authorized dealer and 8months a long the line the fan broke! I have been struggling for 2 MONTHS to get a response! This is not service!!!!!!! What can I do or who can I contact to get through to the TLC SUPPLIER who,apparantly has to authorize the swop??????????????????????

0 Think the thermostat isn't working. Can you tell me where to find it on a TCL air-con, model TAC-30CHS/G. E 2 flashes up when con turns itself off, before reaching temperature.

0 Hi everybody, If you have an E2 code on the display, I suggest its time for a service man. If you are competent with electrical equipment, check the fan and Compressor capacitors. If they are within rated capacitance thencheck to see if the fans start and run, then also check the compressor current draw. If all these are within the labeled ratings, possibly the unit is out of gas. If it wont start at all, first thing is to check that you actually have electrical power at the unit, then check capacitors. if it cools but wont heat then check the reversing valve coil, maybe it is burnt out. These problems are common to all AC,s.. regards Col
