Question About NuTone Garage Door Opener don't have it.
My son has a Nutone garage door opener remote that...

My son has a Nutone garage door opener remote that needs to be replaced. It was back in 1980 when it was put in and the garage door opener still work but the remote is having issues. What would you recommend for a replacement remote.

?I tried some universal remote at Lowes and it didn't work.

However, If you swap out the remote and the receiver unit, you can make it work. And it was cheaper than I thought ($40)

?I got the Multicode brand and it worked great for me (You'll also need the wire adapters).
