Question About Nordyne Furnace RC 92+
Roll out switch trips...

The flame roll out switch trips when the furnace runs over 20 min. The installer said to disconnect.

5 NEVER disconnect safety switches! The reason it keeps tripping is because the furnace temp is running too high. You may have a Flue blockage, the gas pressure may be too high, or there is not sufficent airflow from the duct system. I have seen the fancy pleated filters cause this problem, they can drastically reduce airflow from yhe return. Fire your service guy and complain to the local liscening board that he even made such a suggestion.
